Katie is an APA Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, having completed her Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence & Women’s Health) in 2020. Improving Pelvic Health Physiotherapy services to our community starts with practitioner education. Katie actively participates in professional development within the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy networks in Western Australia, and is able to provide individual and group education, training and mentoring to Physiotherapists in the Mandurah region. Return To Exercise After Having a Baby

Do you work with pregnant or postnatal clients in your gym, yoga or pilates class, or other exercise classes or environments? Are you a health professional working with postnatal clients to assist their return to exercise?

This workshop is designed to provide essential knowledge in anatomy and pathophysiology for women in the pregnancy and the postnatal period, screening for women returning to exercise, and looks at exercise and modifications for conditions such as prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, urinary incontinence, diastasis rectii and more. This workshop is interactive, with participants being able to view use of real time ultrasound assessment in pelvic floor muscle assessment.
